Oregano opens its first restaurant in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, June 20, 2017

Oregano, a Ligurian cuisine-inspired dining outlet, is expanding its foorprint in the UAE with the launch of its first restaurant in Abu Dhabi at Al Forsan Village Town Square.

The Oregano menu offers plenty of authentic Italian dishes including pasta, ravioli, gnocchi, pizza, calzone, risotto among many others. Apart from their regular Italian food, they offer artfully presented delectable dishes from the chef’s special that will whet one's appetite.

The seeds of Oregano go all the way back to the mid 1900’s when Siegfried, a German chef, left home in Cologne and traveled around Europe in search of flavours. When Siegfried reached Liguria in the North West coast of Italy, he discovered a cuisine that captured his palate and he started his own restaurant. It was only when his son, Maurizio, along with Tony and George, who had a passion for cooking, worked together to replicate the flavours from Liguria, that they decided to embark on their journey to open a small restaurant in Dubai.
The ambience at Oregano is that of a casual Italian restaurant with interiors that will invoke the desire to take a stroll on the streets of Italy whilst gorging on their traditional food. Wooden seating in a dimly lit set up and a menu that offers a wide range of Italian delicacies to choose from are sure to take you to the foothills of Liguria.

Now with eight restaurants in Dubai, the Italian brand is looking to branch further with its new restaurant in Abu Dhabi.

The restaurant opens from 11 am- 12 am daily and endeavors to cater to the foodies of Abu Dhabi apart from the residents of Al Forsan Village. - TradeArabia News Service
